A week later, multiple leakers claim that the developer is considering making it a full-time expansion to the game. HYPEX claims that Epic will support the game mode until at least 2027. Meanwhile, Shiina noted that some quest deadlines for the game have been changed to the same year. While Epic has not officially confirmed the mode will stay, those numbers lining up combined with the mode’s popularity make it even more likely.

Blitz Royale is a faster version of the standard Zero Build battle royale. It features 32 players and a much smaller map, encouraging quick combat. As players get kills and survive the storm, they get special upgrades and weapons. Blitz Royale matches only take about five minutes, which makes it well-suited to the mobile version of the game.
