Esportsbetting.com breaks into esports betting market with MGA approval
Esportsbetting.com is a brand new bookmaker launched this week dedicated to bringing around-the-clock esports betting markets. Fully regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority, while also aiming at a UK Gambling Commission license, they will be the first esports bookmaker in the industry to hold licenses with both regulatory bodies.
Their aim is to offer the widest range of betting markets on over eight popular titles such as CS:GO, League of Legends, Dota 2 and Overwatch, alongside coverage of hundreds of minor events. Further to this, they are set to become a prominent streaming partner together with ESL, with in-house coverage of all major tournaments and events to come in the future.
A fully regulated, multi-language Esports Betting Site
In an unprecedented move and a first for esports betting operators, Esportsbetting.com has acquired a full license from the Malta Gaming Authority. In addition to this their objective is to have a fully regulated license with the UK Gambling Commission. While a natural move for regular sportsbook operators, direct competitors such as GG.bet and ebettle.com have often avoided more stringent regulation by procuring licenses in Curacao.
While established operators have often seen esports betting as a side-project, with very few established esports betting operators on the market, Esportsbetting.com is set to be a pioneer service.
Developed by Gamers for Gamers
Benjamin Bradkte, former Head of Marketing for Dojo Madness, an authentic esports enthusiast and pioneer, is founder of this new esports betting website. The esports games that are currently covered include League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Call of Duty, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft 2 and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, with plans to extend the global esports portfolio.
Esportsbetting.com also offers customers a dedicated database of player, team and tournament statistics. In-play live betting options one of their main feature, in addition to the free-live streaming service, for their registered players.
Founded in 2018, Esportsbetting.com currently has a growing team of 6 individuals and it’s backed by Frontloop Media, a consultancy services firm focusing on e-commerce, digital media and entertainment which has previously helped launch of other successful iGaming platforms like Wetten.com, Mobilebet and ComeOn.
