TFT Twitch Rivals groups revealed!
Following the first ever Teamfight Tactics Twitch Rivals announcement two weeks ago, Twitch has revealed the event’s participants two days before its start this Wednesday. There will be a total of 64 participants in the TFT Twitch Rivals all competing for a share in the $125,000 prize pool. Click here to find out more about the tournament details.
As expected of such a large event for a relatively new game, the skill levels between players will vary largely. Paired with the fact that Twitch Rivals is less of a strict competition, but instead entertainment for viewers, the winners for a handful of sub groups are fairly predicatble. That said, given Teamfight Tactics is a RNG heavy game, nothing is certain.
There are a handful of underdogs currently participating in the TFT Twitch Rivals. These include a handful of non-English streamers / content creators.
Uthenera transitioned from Dota’s autochess scene to full time TFT. Compared to other big names like Pokimane and Forsen, he should not be underestimated. While some may meme about Forsen and call him a casual player, there is no doubt Forsen is amazing at strategy games, especially through his success in Hearthstone.
DisguisedToast and Hafu are both two of the most well-known streamers in Teamfight Tactics having transitioned over from Hearthstone. Given their rise in popularity, there is little surprise they are some of the best players currently and are considered favourites for their group. Tidesoftime is also another strong group B contender having played high level Dota 2 auto chess in the past before transitioning to TFT.
64 streamers will compete Wednesday & Thursday this week for $125,000 and the title of World's Best Teamfight Tactics Streamer!
