Supercell has made the process of getting new characters very easy. However, it’s luck-based. There are three ways to obtain them in the game: Buy them from the in-game shop, complete the squad journey, and open chests. You will be able to get new characters or more character cards to evolve them. Getting more characters will help you create the best meta team in Squad Busters too.
Everyday Squad Busters refreshes the cards that are available in the shop. You can spend the coins that you earn in the game to buy new characters. The new characters’ cost depends on their rarity. If you buy a common character, it will come for 5,000 to 8,000 coins. However, if you buy an Epic character, it can cost you upwards of 12,000 coins and some characters like the Wizard even cost 100,000.
You can also get new characters from the chests. After each match, you get a chest that consists of characters. These could consist of evolution cards of new characters cards. It’s based on luck, and if you are lucky, you will get a new character when you open the chests.
The last option given by Supercell is to complete the Squad Journey. As you progress in the game by completing missions, you will be moving ahead in the Squad Journey. After completing the missions, you will be given rewards and sometimes these rewards include characters.
