PMPL Fall Regional Championships Schedules Revealed

The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Fall Split is currently underway, and the top professional teams from around the world are competing for a share of the prize pool, bragging rights, and qualification to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022.

While Tencent had revealed the complete schedule for the fall season of the PMPL previously itself, the dates of the Regional Championships weren’t announced. In a recent press release, however, the schedule for it was announced as well.

PMPL Fall Split: Regional Championships Schedules Announced

There are 13 PMPLs that happen in different regions around the world. Each of these Pro Leagues feeds into a larger regional championship.

 

The schedule for these is as follows:

  • PMPL SEA Championship
    • League Stage: Sept. 28 to Oct. 16
    • Finals: Oct. 21 to 23
  • PMPL MEA Championship: Oct. 13 to 16
  • PMPL Americas Championship: Oct. 20 to 23
  • PMPL European Championship: Oct. 20 to 23
  • PMP South Asia Championship: Oct. 13 to 16

Except for SEA, all the regional championships feature a similar format of four days of intense action. In these, 16 teams will compete for the title of champions.

The SEA PMPL Championship, on the other hand, features a much larger format with a league stage and the grand finals. In the league stage, 20 teams will compete for 16 spots in the grand finals.

Adding to the stakes, each regional championship will also have spots in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 up for grabs. Tencent hasn’t revealed the slot distribution yet, though.

PMGC 2022 to feature 48 teams with a LAN Finals in Indonesia

The PMGC 2022 will begin shortly after the Regional Championships end in each region. This year will also feature the most teams in the global championship with 48 teams qualifying for the league stage.

PMGC 2022 Slots

The league stage will run across several weeks with the top 13 teams advancing to the PMGC Grand Finals. Here, they will be met with three undisclosed directly invited teams.

The PMGC Grand Finals will be a LAN event in Indonesia.

PMPL SEA Regional Championship: The only region with confirmed teams so far

The PMPL SEA Championship is the only regional championship that has confirmed the 20 teams competing in it so far. For the rest of the championships, the ongoing Pro Leagues will determine the finalists.

    • TEM Entertainment (Thailand)
    • Don’t Break Dreams (Malaysia)

The 20 teams will compete across a league stage with the top 16 advancing to the grand finals from Oct. 21 to 23. Tencent hasn’t revealed the exact format yet.
