VALORANT 8.07 Patch Notes – Omen buff, bug fixes, and more

With VALORANT Episode 8 Act 2 winding down, it’s time to make the most of the remaining time. Therefore, the latest 8.07 update brings some exciting changes to Omen, a bunch of bug fixes for Clove, and more. With that said, let’s take a look at the buffs to Omen as well as the other details of VALORANT Patch 8.07.

VALORANT Patch 8.07 General updates

First up, we have some general updates that aim to improve accessibility in the game. Interaction prompts now have better contrast, making them easier to read while you’re in the heat of battle. The text has been simplified, and weapon prompts no longer display skinline names, streamlining the experience for players.

Now, let’s talk about Omen. This shadowy agent has received a significant buff that allows him to pick up the Spike and interact with other objects like doors while in the Shade form of From the Shadows (X) without having to cancel the ability.

This change aims to make these interactions more intuitive and clearly intended, giving Omen players more flexibility and control during intense moments.

In addition to the agent updates, there are some gameplay system changes as well. Flashes now behave more consistently, even if your latency is affected. This tweak ensures that the game’s mechanics remain stable and reliable, regardless of any network fluctuations.

Agent Bug Fixes

Now, let’s shift our focus to some agent bug fixes. Chamber has had an exploit squashed, where Trademark (C) could be placed in unintended locations. And Clove had a bit of a makeover, too.

A speculative fix has been submitted for an issue where Clove’s corpse would sometimes remain upright after dying. On top of that, a bunch of pesky bugs related to Clove’s abilities have been ironed out, from ultimate missions not progressing to combat reports not showing damage to the Pick-Me-Up (C) temporary health.
