There are hundreds of Axie Infinity cards and for a beginner, it gets quite overwhelming. To begin with, there are nine classes of Axies, six body parts, and there are ranges and costs. Players can sift through them by tinkering with the filters.

Along with the tiers list, we have also included a small description to give you a better idea of the cards. Please take note that some Axie Infinity cards are effective when combined with other cards.

Axie Infinity Cards: Tier List

Here’s the tier list for all Axie Infinity cards with a concise description for each card:

S-Tier

  • Bug Splat – Does 50% more damage and attacks Bug targets
  • Scarab Curse – The targeted enemy does not heal for the two rounds and the debuff cannot be undone.
  • Crimson Water – This trait targets an injured opponent when the Axie’s HP is below 50%
  • Anesthetic Bait – Stuns opponents when Bird or Aquatic cards strike it. This bait can be used only once in a round.
  • Acrobatic – Use in combination with another card for attack speed +
  • Wooden Stab – If the Axie’s shield breaks, this card deals 120% damage
  • Vegetal Bite – Combine with another card to steal one energy from the opponent
  • Blackmail – This card shifts all your Axie’s debuffs to the targeted enemy
  • Prickly Trap – If this Axie is the last one to attack, it deals 120% damage
  • Piercing Sound – Destroys energy of one of the enemies

A – Tier

  • Third Glance – Combine with another card to discard one of enemy’s card randomly
  • Luna Absorb – Gives you one energy
  • Kotaro Bite – If the target is faster than this Axie, you get one energy
  • Swallow – Restores health equivalent to the damage done by the card
  • Star Shuriken – Prevents the targeted Axie from entering the last stand mode after the HP hits zero
  • Spike Throw – Combine with two more Axie Infinity cards and target enemy with the lowest shield
  • Sticky Goo – This card stuns the enemy that has attack the Axie (if the shield breaks)
  • Balloon Pop – The Balloon Pop applies Fear to the enemies. If the Axie is defending, the Fear is applied to the Axie.
  • Tiny Catapult – This card reflects 50% of the attack done by the enemy back to them
  • Fish Hook – While attacking Dusk, Plant, and Reptile class, the Axie gets Attack+
  • Chomp – With two additional cards, Chomp can stun one enemy.
  • Swift Escape – The Axie receives Speed+ for two rounds
  • Scale Dart (Aqua) – Let’s you draw a card when the enemy is in the last stand
  • Sinister Strike – For critical strikes, this card deals 200% damage
  • Carrot Hammer – When the Axie’s shield breaks, the Axie receives one energy. This can be triggered only once in a round.
  • Drain Bite – Heals the Axie with the damage this card inflicts
  • Peace Treaty – Applies the Attack- debuff to the targeted opponent
  • Eggbomb – The Axie gets Aroma buff until next round
  • Hare Dagger – If the Axie attacks first, you get to draw a card
  • Ivory Chop – If the Axie’s shield breaks, you get to draw a card
  • Angry Lam – If the Axie’s HP dips below 50%, it will deal 120% damage
  • Upstream Swim – Combine with another Aqua card to apply Speed + to the Axie for two rounds
  • October Treat – You get to draw a card if the Axie’s shield doesn’t break throughout the round
  • Cleanse Scent – Gets rid of all the debuffs on the Axie

B-Tier

  • Critical Escape – Reduces the damage taken by 15% for the round
  • Allergic Reaction – Debuffed targets receive 130% damage
  • Blood Taste – Heals the Axie with the damage dealt by this card
  • Tail Slap – Combine with another card to get one energy
  • Disarm – This card applies Attack- debuff to the enemy for two rounds
  • Nut Crack – Combine with another Nut Crack card to deal 120% damage
  • Nile Strike – Applies Attack- debuff to targeted enemies for two rounds
  • Ivory Stab – For every critical stab that your team deals, you get one energy
  • Spicy Surprise – This disables enemy’s mouth for the next round
  • Refresh – Gets rid of all debuffs of a team mate that’s next to the Axie or in front of it
  • Nut Throw – Combine with another Nut Cracker card to deal 120% damage
  • Grub Surprise – Gives Fear debuff to shielded enemies
  • Disguise – Combine with a Plant card to get one energy
  • Shelter – Disables the critical damage received by the Axie
  • Triple Threat – If the Axie has any debuff, it attacks twice
  • Night Steal – Combine with another card to steal one energy
  • Hero’s Bane – Stops enemy’s last stand
  • Single Combat – Combine with two other cards for a guaranteed critical hit
  • Surprise Invasion – If the targeted enemy is faster than the Axie, it deals 130% damage
  • Revenge Arrow – If the Axie is in the last stand, it deals 150% damage
  • Shipwreck – If the Axie’s shield breaks, Attack + buff is applied
  • All-out Shot – With this card, the Axie restores 30% of the max HP
  • Spinal Trap – Combine with two cards to prioritize a target

C-Tier

  • Healing Aroma – Restore the Axie’s HP by 120 points
  • Self Rally – Lends Morale +2 to the Axie for two rounds
  • Slippery Shield – Lends 15% of the shield to nearby teammates
  • Leek Leak – Disables the targeted enemy’s ranged cards for the next round
  • Tiny Swing – After round 4, the Axie deals 150% damage
  • Seed Bullet – Targets the fastest enemy
  • Bug Noise – Applies Attack – debuff to the targeted enemy
  • Sugar Rush – Bug allies deal extra 10% damage
  • Bulkwark – 40% of the damage gets reflected back at the enemy
  • Dark Swoop – Targets the fastest enemy
  • Scaly Lunge – Pair with another lunge card to deal 120% damage
  • Smart Shot – Leaves out the closest target if there are two or more enemies left
  • Vegan Diet – Heals the Axie with the damage done by the card to a Plant Axie
  • Gerbil Jump – If there are two or more enemies, this card skips the closest one
  • Nitro Leap – If the Axie is in the last stand, it attacks first
  • Shroom’s Grace – Restores 120 HP of the Axie
  • Chitin Jump – Targets the farthest enemy
  • Aquaponics – Restores 50 HP for Anemones after successful attacks
  • Aqua Vitality – Restores 50 HP for Anemones after successful attacks
  • Woodman Power – This card adds up the shield equivalent to the damage dealt to Plant targets

D-Tier

  • Flanking Smack – Axie deals 120% damage if it attacks first
  • Mystic Rush – Gives Attack – debuff to targeted enemy for two rounds
  • Why So Serious – Heals the Axie with damage done to Aquatic enemies
  • Sneaky Raid – Targets the farthest enemy
  • Air Force One – Pair with a Trump card to deal 120% damage
  • Heart Break – Gives Morale -2 debuff to the enemy for two rounds
  • Water Sphere – Applies Chill debuff to two opponents
  • Neuro Toxin – Gives Attack- debuff to poisoned enemies
  • Dull Grip – Shielded enemies receive 30% more damage
  • Headshot – Targeted enemy’s horn cards are disabled for the next round
  • Cool Breeze – Applies Chill debuff to two opponents
  • Ill-omened – Applies Jinx to a target for two rounds
  • Shell Jab – An idle enemy will receive 130% damage
  • Deep Sea Gore – Axie’s shield gets an additional 30% while attacking
  • Soothing Song – Applies Sleep to the target and ignores shield
  • Aqua Deflect – If there are two or more allies left, then the Axie cannot be attacked by Aquatic cards
  • Black Bubble – Applies Jinx to an enemy for two rounds
  • Merry Legion – Play in a chain to add 20% shield
  • Bamboo Clan – Combine with another plant card for extra 20% damage
  • Feather Lunge – Pair with a lunge card to deal 120% damage
  • Death Mark – If the Axie’s HP is below 30%, the card applies Lethal to the target
  • Early Bird – If the Axie attacks first, it deals 130% damage
  • Clam Slash – While attacking Beast, Bird, or Mech, the Axie gets Attack +
  • Aqua Stock – If the Axie is hit by an Aquatic Card, it gets one energy
  • Juggling Balls – Axie strikes three times
  • Puffy Smack – Skips enemies that are in the last stand
  • Rampant Howl – In the last stand, this card applies Morale+ to the team
  • Branch Charge – Combine with two Plant Cards for increasing critical chance by 20%
  • Insectivore – If the Axie’s HP dips below 50%, it attacks Bugs
  • Barb Strike – Play in a chain to apply Poison
  • Poo Fling – Applies Stench for one round
  • Terror Chomp – Use in a chain to apply Fear to one enemy for two turns
  • Bug Signal – Pair with another Bug Signal card to take one energy from the enemy
  • Venom Spray – Applies poison to one opponent
  • Scale Dart – Get one energy by attacking buffed enemies
  • Chemical Warfare – Applies Stench for one round
  • Turnip Rocket – Combine with two cards to target a Bird
  • Cockadoodledoo – Axie gets Attack+

E-Tier

  • Grub Explode – In the last stand, Axie deals 200% damage
  • Gas Unleash – With each use, the card applies poison
  • Mite Bite – Combine with another card for 100% more damage
  • Twin Needle – Combine with another card to attack twice
  • Overgrow Keratin – Restores 20 points for shield per turn
  • Heroic Reward – while attacking Dawn, Aquatic, or Bird target, you can draw a card
  • Buzzing Wind – Applies Fragile to the target for the round
  • Forest Spirit – Heals the front ally with 120 HP
  • Risky Feather – Axie gets two Attack-
  • Sunder Claw – Combine with another card to discard
  • Sunder Armor – For every debuff the Axie has, it gets 20% shield
  • Vine Dagger – Combine with a Plant card for double shield
  • Jar Barrage – After breaking the Axie’s shield, there will be no more damage
  • Sweet Party – The front ally is healed with 20 HP
  • Numbing Lecretion – Combine with another card to disable target’s melee cards
