Season 4 Reloaded Revealed for MW3 and Warzone
Activision’s studios have lifted the lid on Season 4 Reloaded, the next big update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. This super-sized patch will bring with it a stack of content including a new map, weapon, modes, challenges, and more Zombies objectives. There’s a lot wrapped up in this tidy package, and it’s being released worldwide on June 26 – so there are just a couple of days to wait to get the full length and breadth of the Season 4 Reloaded update.
This update is all about mutations and variants, and that’s what most of the events are themed around. In an all-new game mode, Mutation, players will fight while wielding immense powers, while in Havoc, the game’s modifiers are forever changing. There’s even a new map variant of Favela on the way called Bitvela, which brings about a polygonal, almost Lego-themed environment, changing everything right down to the Operators.
Season 4 Reloaded is Huge
At the top of the table in Season 4 Reloaded sits the new multiplayer map – Incline. This six-vs-six, small-form map is set in the snowy mountains of Urzikstan, boasting a relatively built-up layout with plenty of verticality. There are plenty of opportunities to fall off this map, so keep your eyes open through the falling snow and stay alert. If you want to get up close and personal, use the new Reclaimer 189 shotgun that’s being introduced in this update – or use the new Sledgehammer melee weapon.
When the mid-season update kicks off, players will be able to take part in the Altered Strain event. This is where the new game modes are surfacing, and players are charged with completing challenges either as a human combatant or as a fearsome mutant. It’s appropriate timing to have ‘mutants’ coming into Call of Duty, given the recent collaboration with Fallout.
In this update, G3T_H1GH3R is making a fresh appearance, challenging players to once again ascend the map and beat the challenge. For doing this, users will unlock exclusive weapon camos. If that’s not enough, the latest Unstable Rift in Zombies pits players against waves of enemies, much like the classic best-selling CoD games. Warzone has secured some POI updates, and fresh ground loot has been introduced – the Runaway Train is also functioning again.
Warzone Mobile players can also explore Zombie Royale when Season 4 Reloaded drops on June 26.
And of course, there’s the usual array of bundles, store items, tracer packs, and challenges. There’s a lot to unlock!
