Cyber.Bet Summer Cup Overview

The event itself will start on June 15th, 2020. It will last for quite a while, 10 days in total. The grand final match will be played on June 25th, 2020.

Since we are still affected by recent lockdowns, Cyber.bet Summer Cup will be contested online. A total of 8 teams will fight for their share of $10,000 in prize pool money.

Two double-elimination GSL groups have been put in place. 8 teams are split into two groups of 4. This basically means that if one team loses two matches, they are eliminated. It is important to mention that all of the group stage matches will be played in the best of 3 format.

The best two teams from each group will book themselves a spot in the playoffs. During the playoffs, we will see another double-elimination format. In most cases, tournament hosts will have straightforward playoffs (if you lose one match, you are out).

This is not the case with this event and this is why we believe that Cyber.bet Summer Cup will be excellent for betting. Keep in mind that all of the matches during the playoffs will also be contested in the best of 3 format, including the grand finals.

Cyber.bet Summer Cup Betting Tips

As you can see from list above, the competition here is fierce. However, we believe that some teams will have an advantage. When it comes to Cyber.bet Summer Cup betting, these are the teams that you want to pay attention to.

HellRaisers are by far the most popular team on this list. This esports organization has been around for a while now. They have also formed a bran new CSGO roster that will look to leave a mark in 2020. Led by jR, kAliNkA and Flarich, HellRaisers will definitely have a decent chance of winning this event.

We also believe that Illuminar Gaming has what it takes to book a space in the playoffs. Since all of the matches are played in the best of 3 format, their deep map pool will definitely pay off. However, they are known for chocking once the pressure gets to them, so be careful with your bets.

SMASH Esports released their roster just 5 days before the event. As a result the team will participate as ex-SMASH at the event. Back in April at the previous Cyber.Bet Cup, SMASH lost both matches and left the group stage in last place. Hopefully the team has been bootcamping this past two months and are ready to rock at the event. They roster needs a new organization so performing here is of utmost importance to them.
