4 Zoomers and Undying in the spotlight at DPC 2021 North America

The Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Season 2 NA Upper Division has never been this thrilling to watch. After Evil Geniuses landed a first runner-up spot at the Singapore Major 2021, all eyes shifted toward the North American teams.

As the regional league runs its course, there are definitely several teams that can give EG a run for their money. The first team from the big four to put EG to the test will be 4 Zoomers later this week. Meanwhile, Undying and Quincy crew are trying to pad their own stats before they all have to ultimately face EG and each other in the upcoming weeks.

This week, we have three singles bets, and each could potentially triple up your bet bank in a single swoop. Let’s take a look.

Undying versus simply TOOBASED

The NA pro scene is booming with Dota 2 veterans. Even the recent addition to the Upper Division, simply TOOBASED, has notable players such as Jaron “monkeys-forever” Clinton and Danny “iAnnihilate” Cote. The newcomers will need a lot of momentum if they are join Quincy Crew and 4Zoomers in consideration for a Major spot. First on their plate is Undying, a team with those same goals in mind.

Undying themselves were one tiebreaker away of being next in line to qualify for Singapore Major last season. Last week, they secured an easy victory against The Cut, the other Lower Division Season 1 winner. They are considered heavy favorites in this match. Thus, it’s only natural that they are still heavy favorites in Dota 2 betting. With an odd of x1.06 against their opponent, simply TOO BASED at x7.70.

I do think sT has it in them to will win a game and put the final score at 2:1 for Undying. This would net you x5.80 returns over at Buff.bet, which is not a bad haul for a singles bet.

Evil Geniuses versus 4 Zoomers

It’s the clash between the big boss of NA and 4 Zoomers. Now, there’s no shame in being a 4 Zoomers fan here, as they did hold their own last season. Securing fourth place with an above-average win rate was a feat on its own. Against EG specifically, they have found some success in the past, which should be enough to at least give them a single game in this matchup.

Evil Geniuses’ iconic duo from SEA in “Abed” Azel L. Yusop and Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang has been outsmarting their opponents left and right. Ever since EG debuted their latest line-up for the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 (DPC 2021), the two players are notoriously for their synergistic plays around the map. We are looking to these two to take the cake against the Zoomers.

EG are by far the favorites at only x1.11 they are not even worth considering. Alternatively, 4 Zoomers at x5.66 is a nice looking number, but there is no way in which they pull off more then a single game against EG. The perfect Dota 2 odds are for a correct score on 2:1 for an EG victory, at x4.40 return.

Undying versus 4 Zoomers

This match was originally scheduled for this week, but was moved to next week on short notice. The EG vs 4Z match above took its place. Regardless, odds are still available at some esports betting sites and you can catch 4Z at really good odds if you have faith in them.

Evil Geniuses aside, Undying and 4 Zoomers are still worthy candidates at the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Season 2 NA Upper Division. It won’t be long until both Undying and 4 Zoomers face each other. The two teams will brawl it out in the first match of the third week. As far as Dota 2 odds go, Undying has the edge for placing third last season, but 4 Zoomers followed closely at a fourth. Undying at x1.53 while 4 Zoomers is on x2.37 return.

You can see 4 Zoomers lose their value if they perform well versus EG this Sunday. I propose you put a singles bet on them to win against Undying this week and chip in a solid double up next Tuesday.

All in all, the lines are blurred when it comes to deciding who is superior at the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Season 2 NA Upper Division. Except for Evil Geniuses’ success story, it’s anyone’s game to claim second place and ticket to the upcoming major.
