EPIC League Season 3 Round 3 Matches

EPIC League Season 3 has delivered on its promise to bring us exciting Dota 2 action as we await the Singapore Major. Pre-event favorites are performing as expected, yet some teams have thrown the general predictions out of whack entirely. The event’s modified Swiss Stage promotes or eliminates a team when they reach 3 wins or 3 losses, making the entire experience a rollercoaster of hype action.

Thus far, only Vikin.gg has secured their entry into the next stage, with Brime and Team Spirit deciding theirs today. On the other hand, two DPC teams are facing elimination as VP.Prodigy and High Coast both face elimination.

Below is our set of four predictions you can place a Dota bet on with ease. You can place a bet in both singles or in accumulator format to maximize your earnings.

Tundra Esports vs RUSSIANDRILL

Hailing as an Upper Division team at the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 (DPC 2021), Tundra Esports garnered quite the reputation after their nerve-wracking tiebreakers with OG and Liquid. While Tundra Esports eventually fell, they still won a hefty amount, and a direct invite to next season’s Upper Division.

Compared to RUSSIANDRILL, whose line-up is still unfamiliar to most Dota 2 fans, they are a clear favorite. Needless to say, the odds for RUSSIANDRILL to deliver was absolutely flabbergasted to look at. At over 5 times the odds, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to claim that Tundra Esports is the favorite. However, if you got a Benjamin to spare, RUSSIANDRILL doesn’t look too shabby. They managed to snatch a series off EXTREMUM and came in close against Hellbear Smashers.

Prediction: Correct Map Score 2:1

High Coast Esports vs VP.Prodigy

High Coast Esports versus VP.Prodigy seems rather underwhelming of a series. Much thanks to the upsetting performance that both teams have shown during the DPC 2021. Both DPC participants suffered last-place finishes at their respective brackets, High Coast Esports at the Upper Division, and VP.Prodigy in the Lower Division.

Nevertheless, High Coast Esports is still the seasoned team in this match-up. For what it’s worth, VP.Prodigy is nothing more than an underdog in the CIS scene, and they couldn’t hold up even against other amateurs.

Prediction: High Coast Esports to win 2:0

Team Spirit vs Brame

The match aside, Brame players are in a delightful mood after securing top seeds at the Europe Lower Division. They look forward to the next season’s Upper Division bracket, as the Greek squad has showcased decent progress throughout the first season. They are currently on a hot spree at the EPIC League Season 3 after defeating HellRaisers and Team Unique.

However, Team Spirit is no pushover either, having beat Dota Team and Winstrike. Although Team Spirit may be an Upper Division contestant, Brame isn’t technically at a disadvantage here. As such, the odds are comparable, with Brame having slightly better odds. The former AdFinem captain, Giorgos “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos, is infamously known for surprises, so perhaps we might get entertained, after all.

Prediction: Correct Map Score 2:1

Dota Team vs Team Unique

The former Virtus.pro players Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Alexey “Solo” Berezin have banded together again. At this point, there really isn’t much expectation for the Dota Team to deliver, but they did score a series from VP.Prodigy.

Unfortunately, Team Unique looks more promising on paper. They have several renowned players to brag about, such as Semion “Slayer” Krivulya and Andrii “Ghostik” Kadyk. On the other hand, RAMZES666 is a prodigy in his own right, but the rest of the Dota Team can’t keep up with his unorthodox playstyle. Team Unique got this one in the bag.

Prediction: Correct map Score 1:2

In the end, you should be looking at 45x returns on your initial bet over at GG.BET if you place the four matches in an accumulator format. Individually, coefficients vary between 2x and 4x return, meaning singles bets are also an option. Either way, Round 3 of the EPIC League should be your most lucrative Dota 2 bet this month.
