Peterbot and Pollo Take The Crown – FNCS Global Championship 2024 Results
The FNCS Global Championship 2024 is underway. Where do we stand so far? We’re 6 matches down out of 12, and that will all decide our champions for this year. Which teams have excelled so far in the FNCS Global Championship 2024 Results for Day 1?
Day 1 has been an interesting one. It’s seen one team rise to establish quite a lead over the lobby. Although, there are quite a few teams just a notch behind. With another 6 games still to go, what’s the takeaway from the FNCS Global Championship 2024 Results to date?
Day 2’s Dramatic Developments
Heading into Day 2, things looked quite different from how they went in Day 1, where Peterbot and Pollo had taken a huge lead. But with 1.5x points on Sunday, it was all still to play for.
The games proved that quickly too. Within a short time, the playing field was wide back open with Peterbot and Pollo opening the day with a short 6-point game for the seventh, before earning nothing in the next game. Queasy and ThomasHD were gaining fast, with an impressive performance in Game 7.
By Round 8 though, Peterbot and Pollo were once again demonstrating why they dominated Day 1. Kill counts individually counting for more than most Duos were achieving together. They got a huge 160 points out of Round 9. In the final matches Peterbot and Pollo and Queasy and ThomasHD were neck and neck in the final circle. Before Peterbot with the storm on him took out the Duo. With another victory Royale win, Peterbot’s insane late-game skills locked it in.
In a real nail-biter, it came down to the very final game, where Queasy and Th0masHD flushed out at 0 points, securing the win for Peterbot and Pollo. The FNCS Global Championship 2024 results show these two are our new reigning champions. Their performance left little doubt, they’re the best the game has seen.
FNCS Global Championship 2024 Results – Day 1
If you’ve missed some of the games in the current FNCS Global Championship results, there’s one team far and away ahead. Peterbot and Pollo. The two were some of the best Fortnite players frequently. However, they’ve really stood out in the lobby so far. This pair has taken a lead of over 100 points just through the first day.
It’s not over yet though. Quite a few other squads have been gaining fast. Queasy and Th0masHD especially are here in second. They’ve got 295 points so far, in no small part thanks to the 105-pointer second game, one of the biggest single-game totals of the weeks. Not far behind in third is Flickzy and vic, followed by Chico and TruleX. While these Duos haven’t had as perfect of a run, they’re all close enough to still be in the running.
While the FNCS throughout the Chapter 5 Fortnite seasons have sometimes seen the halfway point show one team hugely ahead, we’re not seeing this at the International LAN. Instead, things look pretty open for our second day. We have a Duo far in the lead, but there’s still room for someone else to climb back up and ultimately claim the win.
Day 2 Could Change Everything
That’s the FNCS Global Championship 2024 results for Day 1. Day 2, though, is much heavier in the final scoring. For our second day points are worth 50% more.
This means the leads established so far will be considerably harder to hold onto unless players can keep their performance up for the second day. Keep an eye on the FNCS leaderboard as the matches finish up, as a Duo only needs a killer Sunday to upset the rankings and take the crown.
