The 5 best ADC to play with Milio in LoL
Milio is one of the newest support of League of Legends, as he set foot on Summoners’ Rift in season 13. Right off the bat, the champion turned out to be quite powerful, which forced the developers to hotfix him in one day.
In its current state, Milio is still performing decently with good win rates. His simplicity makes him one of the best champions in LoL for beginners, and the kit allows him to grant more power to his allies without great mechanical requirements.
Based on his current state, we have compiled a list of the best ADC champions who are going to work with Milio. While it’s not definitive, as players are still discovering the limits of the champion, most of them should be pretty much settled.
Ashe – the no. 1 ADC for Milio
After doing some testing, the current best ADC to play with Milio is Ashe. For a champion who wants to kite like her, Milio further empowers all her strengths, making her almost untouchable during the fights.

Ashe, compared to other marksmen in the meta, has a stronger early game thanks to her poke from her W. This gives Milio more breathing room to scale since he doesn’t excel on early-game trading.
The shining moment for this duo starts during the mid-game and teamfights. Thanks to the increased attack range from Milio’s Cozy Campfire (W), Ashe can use her DPS from a safe distance. In case she gets engaged, Milio can cleanse any incoming crowd control with the ultimate.
Paired with Ashe’s slows on auto attacks, she can become an oppressive threat to the enemy team, kiting them to death. There’s only one way to beat this bot lane and that is by punishing them early on. Try to delay their scaling as much as possible and get a good snowball from it.
Caitlyn – the Ashe alternative
There is a reason why Riot Games showed Cailtyn and Milio together in the abilities rundown video. The two are probably going to be the no. 1 bot lane pairing with Milio.

Caitlyn is known for being a lane bully thanks to her high attack range. If Milio is played alongside her, there is a chance the enemy players wonì’t get to play, given the insane range she will get under Milio’s W. She can harass enemies for free, without even giving them a way to fight back. Paired with Milio’s passive, Caitlyn will deal even more damage.
On top of that, she will get shields and movement speed bonuses from Milio’s E, partially fixing her lack of mobility. And if Caitlyn gets engaged or locked down by crowd controls, Milio can cleanse it with his ultimate, allowing her to instantly get away from danger.
That being said, this bot lane duo, just like with almost all the best Caitlyn supports, is going to be vulnerable to ganks without proper vision. While Milio’s numbers are still being tested on the PBE, there shouldn’t be doubts about the power of this pairing.
Lucian – Dash ‘n’ fire
Even though Lucian is a highly mechanical champion who requires players to play aggressively, Milio does a wonderful job at empowering his early-game power. By providing constant shields, Lucian can consistently proc his passive for extra damage, getting the upper hand in most of the trades during the laning phase.

On top of that, Milio heavily ramps up Lucian’s damage with the Cozy Campfire (W), allowing him to attack targets from a distance he usually won’t be able to do. Knowing how to kite in LoL, paired with Lucian’s mobility, makes him able to fire all his shots, all while repositioning and staying at a safe distance.
That being said, this bot lane duo requires great coordination and it’s usually a high-risk, high-reward duo. If you’re unable to get a lead by playing these two champions together, you will struggle with the team’s damage output in the late-game teamfights since Lucian has a notable drop compared to other hypercarries.

Jinx – Peel the hypercarry
As someone who needs to slowly scale up towards the late game, Jinx requires a good enchanter that can help her survive the laning phase as she focuses on farming and reaching her item spikes.
Thanks to Milio’s peeling potential both during the laning phase and later in the game, Jinx should have an easier time reaching said power spikes without falling behind. And once Jinx gets excited, there is nothing the enemy can do to stop her.
Twitch- a less popular but equally effective pick
If Jinx is usually the most popular choice, then Twitch is the underrated pick to play alongside Milio. While the latter is a bit weaker compared to Jinx early on, Twitch can abuse Milio’s kit much more later in the game. The additional range coming from the ADC’s ultimate with the Cozy campfire allows him to throw autos from an incredibly long distance, bursting down targets before they can reach him. If you’re able to hold the early game and wait for the three-item spikes, you can take over every single fight.
