Cloud 9 are looking good this Summer split, amongst the top teams so far in week 2 with a 3-1 record. C9’s game against the Golden Guardians had been extremely close, despite their loss, which would had otherwise placed them in the top spot alongside Optic. Optic on the other hand have once again stunned many by continuing their undefeated streak.

Despite looking good in week 1, with two wins, CLG have dropped both their games recently, placing them 2-2 on the leader boards. Echo Fox similarly fell in both games in week 2, now tied along with Fly Quest, 1-3.

Clutch Gaming have turned around their performance, giving Golden Guardians their only loss, and cleanly defeating the 100 Thieves. Considering Team SoloMid’s match-ups so far and that its only two weeks in, it is still unclear if TSM have improved or declined. However, their loss to Fly Quest is certainly a sign the team has work to do.

As expected, the 100 Thieves continue to be the lowest ranked team in the Summer season so far. The team had placed 10th in the Spring split, only making a single roster change with Amazing in the jungle. While the Golden Guardians did not make any roster changes, their performance has shot up, placing amongst the top teams following their triumph over Cloud 9.
