TFT Set 3 – What We Know so Far

In a short announcement video, we have found out quite a few things. First and foremost, Teamfight Tactics set 3 will add several major changes to the game itself. Even though we do not know what are those changes just yet, we can expect nerfs and changes to various items in order to make things more competitive and reward players that are playing the game the way it is supposed to be played, the strategic way.

Lunchboy also stated that they are trying to find a way to implement a cross-play between the mobile version of the game and the PC version.

We have already talked about the TFT Set 3 release date. Since everyone is eager to start things off, I will repeat it once again. You can expect the game somewhere in March of 2020. In other LoL news, this is what TFT set 3 trailer included.

TFT Set 3 Champions

Even though nothing has been confirmed just yet, we have seen some serious hints in the 3-minute long video. Riot stated several times that they want to rotate champions throughout new sets. In the developer video, we have seen 4 different skins of champions. This was presented to us in the video:

  • Project: Fiora
  • Star Guardian Poppy
  • Odyssey Jinx
  • Pulsefire Shen
  • Out of this world = ???

If we take these skin lines as a reference, we can get the general idea on the new TFT champions. From the Project skins, we could see Pyke, Leona, Zed, Lucian, Vi, Ashe, Vayne, Katarina, Master Yi and Yasuo.

Which Strategies Will be Viable?

We all know that there are quite a few strategies available to us. TFT reroll strategy is by far the best one out there. How hard will this strategy be to implement in the upcoming changes is hard tough to judge.

We will probably see changes to the gold saving. God knows, maybe we will not be able to use all of our gold at once in the coming future.
