The process of how to change region in LoL

Visit the Riot Account Management Page

  • First of all, visit the Riot Account Management page from the Riot Games website and log in with your League of Legends account credentials. Make sure to check that the account can be transferred.

Initiate a Region Transfer

  • Once you are signed in, navigate to the account settings or the “Region Transfer” option. Please note that region transfers are cost RPs, so you will need to have enough Riot Points (RP) in your account to complete the transfer. The cost will depend on which region you are in and how many RPs you would need to complete the transfer.
Select the new Region
  • Choose the region you wish to transfer to from the list of available options.

Confirm Your Transfer

  • After selecting the new region, you will be prompted to confirm your choice and complete the transfer using your RP.

Download the Necessary Game Files

  • Once the transfer is completed, you may have to download game files for any possible updates. Once those are downloaded, you will be ready to play in the new region!

Be aware, however, that your friend list and ranked results will not be transferred to the new account. This can also include some in-game purchases since some of Riot’s in-game items may be region-specific. Additionally, make sure to test the latency before making transfers, as high ping might heavily impact your gameplay.
