Along with Ryu in Street Fighter, Ken is one of the OG characters. He was the other main fighter that you could play as. That’s made him one of the most recognizable faces, and also the most played Street Fighter 6 character for that matter.
Ken in Street Fighter has a lot of lore since he dates back to the very first game. He’s a rival and best friend to Ryu! Ken started out as a delinquent as a child, before being sent to train with a karate master. Here, he discovered a passion in life and began to develop his skills.
Over the games that came later, Ken had a lot of story developments. Most recently he’s become a crypto bro, lost a lot of money, and had to leave his family! That’s where we find Ken in the Street Fighter 6 prequel comic, heading into the game proper.

As one of the more core characters, Ken in Street Fighter 6 has a less specialist move set. He’s a character with great potential for up-close brawling. You’ll want to focus on mastering combos and inflicting high damage with chains of moves, as well as moving into those riskier higher damage special attacks.
