Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) is a tactical and competitive game that pushes gamers to the absolute limit. To be good at CS2, you must understand the game mechanics and use that to accentuate your skills. Most players focus on training their aim, learning spray patterns, and working on their versatility. The top players already know that, including Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, and that’s why we will look at CS2 m0NESY’s settings in this article.

Most CS2 gamers rank m0NESY as one of the fastest-rising players at a very young age. He plays with one of the biggest teams in CS2 and has shown time and time again that skill and knowledge win the game.

Learning a pro’s settings is what makes players rank up faster and get better in CS2. All you have to do is watch his gameplay and insert his settings into your game. Some settings might not be friendly to you, and that is fine. You can make personal changes to the settings to be able to use them in your gameplay comfortably; this is how you get better at CS2.

Who is m0NESY?

Ilya Osipov, known as m0NESY, is the 18-year-old wonderkid who plays as an AWPer for one of the biggest CS2 teams, G2 Esports. He’s renowned for his quick reflexes,  sharp intuition, and crazy aim. As a prodigy, he has already established himself as one of the best CS2 players in the scene and made the leap to CS2 seamlessly. He started playing for small teams, shining and showing his skills, and winning less-known tournaments before being picked up by G2 as their main AWPer.

AWPers are known for their quick reflexes and reading of the game. They check their surroundings to understand whether anyone is approaching so they can rotate to a safer distance for sniping. G2’s m0NESY fits right into this category at the very top.

m0NESY’s CS2 settings

m0NESY is an AWPer. The AWP is the most expensive gun in the game and also the most powerful. It requires skill and quick reflexes to be formidable, and most AWPers in professional CS2 take a more aggressive approach than the average player. AWPing also requires special settings to maximize the gun’s potential. You will have to adjust the View Model so you can see the screen more and make faster decisions.

By studying m0NESY’s CS2 settings, you will begin to understand his style of play and why he is so good. You will also appreciate his game sense and have to replicate his settings in your gameplay so that you can try them out for yourself. You might also want to switch it up because not everyone’s settings are comfortable to play with.

m0NESY’s CS2 Mouse settings

Having the perfect mouse settings is essential to an AWPer. Using the scope of a sniper rifle reduces your vision, so you have to horizontally look around to find your target. Getting a comfortable sensitivity should be a top priority for any AWPer.

  • DPI: 400
  • Sensitivity: 2.00
  • eDPI: 800
  • Zoom Sensitivity: 1
  • Hz: 2000
  • Windows Sensitivity: 6

As an AWPer, apart from crippling the enemy, you also have to be able to gather information about enemy locations and other important tidbits like bomb site analysis. You also need to be able to see the battlefield, so video settings are very important to AWPers.

  • Resolution: 1280×960
  • Texture Quality: 4:3
  • Scaling Mode: Stretched

m0NESY’s CS2 Video Settings

Using a sniper means one hit, and you get them. Enemy players know this, so they hide behind cover, making sure not to peek when your crosshairs are trained on them. AWPer m0NESY knows all this, so he works on his video settings to be able to pick out clumsy players who don’t hide properly behind cover. Eventually, he’ll catch a leg out of place and get his kill.

Copy m0NESY’s video settings so you can take advantage of this for yourself.

m0NESY’s CS2 Crosshair Settings

Although, you can argue that he is an AWPer, why would he need crosshair settings? AWPers are expensive. You don’t start your match with an AWPer immediately, so this crosshair setting is for his other guns. This is perfect because you can apply his settings across all of your guns and practice with it.

cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -4; cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0;

You will have to copy this into your console for the settings to apply to your game. Alternatively, copy this code into the Crosshair code section of the in-game settings menu:

m0NESY’s CS2 View Model Settings

An AWP can take up space on the screen, so he has to adjust it to suit his liking. This helps him to make split decisions and have a better view of his enemy.

viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0; viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 3; cl_usenewbob false;

Using the View Model allows you to make tweaks to how you position your gun on the screen.

You need only insert the code into your console, which will apply the settings to your gameplay.
