Rocket Racing Release Date – When did it come Out?
Rocket League Racing was released on December 8 2023, and is now available to be played in Fortnite. It’s free to download and play. However, certain cars and cosmetic items may require purchase.
How to Download Rocket Racing
Rocket League Racing can only be played from within the Fortnite launcher, which means that you’ll need to create a Fortnite account and link it to Rocket League.
If you haven’t played Fortnite before, then it will be automatically installed alongside Rocket Racing when you download it from the Epic Games store. If you already have Fortnite downloaded, then you will only have to download Rocket Racing.
Game Modes
Rocket League Racing features both ranked and unranked game modes, as well as the option to host Public or Private matches.
There are three levels of track difficulties: Novice, Advanced, and Expert. Novice is the easiest, and is recommended for beginners. For more experienced players, Advanced and Expert tracks will be unlocked.
There are currently 30 total tracks, with 9 Novice tracks, 11 Advanced tracks, and 10 Expert tracks available.
What are the Ranks in Rocket Racing?
The ranking system for Rocket Racing is the same as in Fortnite Ranks. This means that the ranks, from lowest to highest, are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, Champion, and Unreal.
Maps with a higher difficulty are unlocked as players increase their rank. Once Diamond has been reached, all the maps will be unlocked. However, if a player is in a party with someone that is a higher rank (and has more maps unlocked), then they will also have access to these maps.
If a player is solo queuing, the matchmaking system will assign them to a game with players that are a similar rank as them. When playing in a party, the members of the party will be matched against opponents that are a similar rank as the party member with the highest rank.
