What is the fastest way to level up guns in Warzone?

In Warzone, many factors influence the likelihood of victory, some include a good team, extensive map knowledge, and how to best utilise your class with playstyle. One other critical factor that is not recognised enough is the setup of your gun. For that reason something that’s on the mind of many players starting out is what is the fastest way to level up guns in Warzone?

To have the best loadout possible you need to have your weapons maxed out, as this will then allow you to choose any attachments, then that will ultimately elevate your own abilities. Additionally, having a weapon at max level will allow you to readjust accordingly when new updates are released. With updates coming out regularly in the world of Call of Duty: Warzone, there are many attachments that can be buffed or nerfed, so a fully ranked weapon is vital for success. For these reasons alone, we decided to create an article on how to rank up quickly. All you must do is choose the weapon and then follow our method.

Firstly, remember that weapons from Modern Warfare, Cold War and Vanguard can roughly take between 115,000 – 150,000xp to fully level up. Cold War and Vanguard weapons specifically can take a little extra time, but they are still certainly worth the extra minutes to upgrade. The first step is to utilise your XP tokens. If you can play with a squad, we would advise to use the longer duration tokens, and if you cannot find a squad and intend on playing solo, use shorter timed tokens. The more teammates you have the easier contracts will be, leading to better token efficiency.

To support your levelling up, it is worth posting ‘team up posts’ on looking for group’s pages. This should allow you to find some teammates. After that, we certainly recommend choosing Duo’s or Quads, as Trio’s are more competitive and you will find less contracts. This will also eat up a lot of your XP token times which is not optimal. Our method will include playing Rebirth Island and completing contracts, whilst the rest of the map are fighting. We want to restate that being in a communicative squad is a huge advantage. You can identify who will drive vehicles, collect contracts, and what weapons each player will use.

The last step before you search for a game involves choosing your perks. Perks one and three are completely your choice. Perk two needs to be Pointman, as this will grant you a large weapon XP boost after completion of each contract. Yes, if you have four players with the perk it does add. On average we found you could gain between 25,000-30,000XP per match, which lasted 10-15 minutes. With tokens, you can go from level 1 to maxed out in 1 – 1 ¼ hours.

Now you have the correct set up and knowledge, load up a game of Rebirth Island with your team or self. As soon as you land gather your cash together quickly and buy a loadout, which will then award you and the team, your perks, and extra weapons. The quicker this is done, the sooner you can start collecting contracts. Try and aim for supply runs, as they come with the least risk. This will allow everybody to stay alive and will maximise your contract completion potential. If your team are competent in gunfights and feel confident, pick-up bounties and pursue your targets in vehicles.

Both are the quickest contracts to carry out. Even if the bounty targets are taken out by another team a small reward can still be collected. With all this information, it is now up to you to go out there and slay your way to completion. SMG’s and AR’s will likely be the best weapons to level up, as with other classes being less mobile friendly, they can take around 2-3 hours. Also, If you would like to play Caldera, this tactic can be used on that map but due to its increased area size, it will be more time consuming.
