Slimebox Nick All-Star Brawl 2 Tournament Coming From Hungrybox
Nickelodeon All Stars Brawl 2 is finally about to release, after weeks of regular news dropping about what to expect from the sequel. The Nickelodeon take on the platform fighter is following up on the first in the series, which had a few early fighting game esports events. With this sequel fixing many of that title’s problems, the game is looking even stronger for competitive play. That’ll be tested soon at the Slimebox tournament.
We’re getting an early event from the game coming from Coinbox organizer Hungrybox. The long-standing Smash pro is behind quite a few of the more interesting events in Super Smash Bros. He’s regularly coming up with ways to push the scene forward. After a bit of a controversial history in his relationship with the first Nickelodeon All-Star game, Hungrybox is coming back to the series. The Slimebox will be our first major event Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.
Slimebox Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
The new tournament coming from Hungrybox is going to focus on one of the most anticipated fighting games of 2023, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. The Slimebox is going to be quite similar to the Coinbox event already running for Smash. It’s taking place run by Hungrybox with GameMill. There’s a $50,000 prize pool on offer.
The event is only taking place for those in North America. As an online tournament though, it makes sense that they want to limit the different regions that could be jumping in.
The whole tournament is taking place on November 15 on Hungrybox’s Twitch channel. This event will be a fun test of the game just a week after it first releases. While Nick All-Star Brawl 1 had a few early tournaments, they dropped off fairly quickly. This new Slimebox event though could go on to be a reoccurring series for the fighter. This new release in the series does appear to fix quite a few older problems, so this could be a bigger release.
