Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair – Kay Matches on Day 1 and 2

The first two days of the Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair have already commenced.

Those saw 367 of the best Hearthstone players in the world battle it out until the first eight rounds of best-of-five matches, determining the top 16 who will proceed in day 3’s playoffs.

Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair Highlight Matches

Here are some of the highlight matches that took place on days 1 and 2 of the Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair.

JrLoveStorm vs Maxxe

Probably the most anticipated matchup in the Hearthstone Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair swiss rounds, JrLoveStorm and Maxxe delivered what could be the closest and most intense amongst all the matches so far. It went down to the wire after both players scored two games each.

But in the end, JrLoveStorm emerged as the better man and scored 3-2 to take on the match and eventually ending all the swiss rounds with a perfect 8-0 record and the top 1 player so far. Maxxee on the other hand finished as the top 2 player of the swiss rounds with a 7-1 record.

Destin vs Furyhunter

Another featured match in Heartstone Esports’ official Twitter account was Destin vs Furyhunter. Both are well-known players in the scene but Destin dismantled Furyhunter’s defense, closing their match 3-1.

With that, Destin ended as the top 7 player of the swiss rounds with a 7-1 record. While Furyhunter barely made it as he finished with 16th place entering the playoffs.

Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair Class Win Rates

Heartstone classes such as Shaman, Warlock, and Druid are currently topping the highest win rate percentages used by players all throughout days 1 and 2 of the tournament. Here’s a brief breakdown so far:

• Shaman – 50% win rate out of 1666 games
• Warlock – 51% win rate out of 1488 games
• Druid – 51% win rate out of 1402 games
• Demon Hunter – 55% win rate out of 1278 games
• Priest – 47% win rate out of 1223 games
• Warrior – 46% win rate out of 838 games
• Hunter – 47% win rate out of 833 games
• Rogue – 52% win rate out of 802 games
• Mage – 52% win rate out of 675 games
• Paladin – 48% win rate out of 415 games

Masters Tour Onyxia’s Lair Details
