BLAST Premier World Final 2021 – Tournament Info, Schedule & Betting Tips

Blast Premier World Final 2021 will be the last Blast event of the year. It will feature 8 teams battling it out for a total prize pool of 1 million dollars. These 8 teams qualified through previous Blast events and thus have earned the right to participate in this ultimate event.

The format is simple: Best of the matches in a double elimination bracket. This is a welcome format as it gives a second chance to teams on the losing end of an upset. It gives a better chance for the true best participating team to take home the title. This makes esports betting a little easier if you want to bet on the winner.

Eight teams attend this event. They are: Gambit Esports, Heroic, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Astralis, Team Liquid.

The teams earned their spots through either winning the Blast Spring Finals, ESL Pro League, or based on points accrued via the BLAST Premier Circuit. Natus Vincere holds a triple crown from qualifying events, having won both the ESL Pro League S14, BLAST Premier Fall Finals and the PGL Major.

Based on a first look at the teams, the CSGO betting favorite is definitely Na’Vi by a large margin. However, it is not guaranteed and there are some very good teams at this tournament. So, who else might be worth betting on to win?

Gambit’s CSGO odds to win it all come in at x4.3 at GG.BET. This brings them in as the second favorite to win it all. If you are looking to take a bit of a gamble, Gambit has good returns and are definitely still in the running to win.

BLAST Premier World Final 2021 Betting Predictions

We are going to provide predictions for each round of the tournament, starting with the opening matches. Granted, the first round can often be the hardest to predict, and usually means there may be some good chances to get some upset wins in this round. Let’s go over the four matches and set our expectations.

BLAST Premier World Final Schedule

Na’Vi vs Liquid

Na’Vi is the clear bet here. We already discussed which maps Natus Vincere could potentially lose. It’s highly unlikely they will lose the series, but dropping a map may be an option. Taking a look at the CSGO betting markets for a niche bet is the ideal choice here, especially if you don’t want to bet on the winner.

Gambit Esports vs Heroic

Though Gambit has been the better team, you never know when Heroic will pop off. Take Gambit in this round, but if you’re feeling like you want to take a calculated risk, Heroic could bring in a nice return. Keep in mind Gambit played horrible CSGO at the PGL Major, and we are not yet sure how well they have recovered.

G2 Esports vs NIP

G2 is the favourite here, look at the CSGO odds for some fun betting options. For example, GG.BET has the first map round total under 26.5 rounds odds set at x1.91. This might be a good bet for what could be a quick first map due to NIP’s horrible T-sides.

Vitality vs Astralis

This would be a good match to bet on the underdog. Astralis have shown flashes of brilliance with this lineup and could definitely take out the french boys. If we are looking at a match with upset potential, then our money is definitely on Astralis.
