Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch Notes – V1.33 Patch Notes
Dragon Ball FighterZ has received loads of updates over its lifespan. It’s not just new additions to the roster though, the Dragon Ball FighterZ patch notes adapt the existing characters and can have a big impact on the meta. As new characters get added to the game and the existing ones get changed, you’ll need to adjust your gameplan. Being on top of the Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch notes can help a lot there.
Development on FighterZ isn’t as active as it was, but the patch notes aren’t done yet. It still gets regular updates and we’re not expecting the release of a FighterZ 2 any time soon. The final one of these updates has actually just hit the game, with the very last round of fighter changes for the game that will ever come! However, there’s still another patch still to come. The most anticipated FighterZ rollback netcode update, which is still delayed. These are all of the more recent patch notes FighterZ has, when the next one is coming, and when to expect things to change with the game’s still upcoming online change.

FighterZ V1.33 Patch notes
The final round of FighterZ patch notes have just hit! This is the latest balance update we’ve seen. As with past updates, translation has caused a bit of an early problem. However, players have started to dig in and we’ve already discovered quite a few changes that have come with the recent FighterZ patch notes and Bandai have updated things with some English changes. These are the big alterations with the recent patch notes.
The big mechanic changes have altered things for every character. Meteor Attacks can be performed from Super attacks, while limit-break is active. In terms of raw character changes, the fusion characters have had some buffs. These are a real pain given how strongly powered they were in the first place. Another big buff so far has been Cooler’s jump cancel.
The Limit Break Changes in general are a major alteration for the current meta of the game. It’ll be interesting to see how this effects the meta at upcoming tournaments like the rest of the FighterZ World Tour.
FighterZ V1.32 Patch Notes
Coming in the tail end of May as we move towards the road to EVO, we’ve gotten a fresh FighterZ patch! Unfortunately, it’s not the patch most fans were looking forward too.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ patch notes for this update have some balancing changes. However, we’re still not getting that rollback netcode update. That’s been pushed back once again. This is what’s changed in the latest update.

What’s Next for Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch Notes?
The last FighterZ patch prior to V1.32 hit on the game in 2022. This was a big balancing patch that had some major impact on the game’s meta. Changes were made to jumping attacks, super dash, guard cancel, and Z change.
Beyond those large changes, balancing changes were made across the board to try and even out the disparity between the best and worst FighterZ characters. Although, how much it managed that is debatable given some character’s strength in the long time it’s been since the last balance update!
When’s the Next Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch Notes?
The next FighterZ patch will likely be pretty soon. The last update on the development of the Rollback Netcode update had its release date for Spring 2023, which is now well underway. While we have gotten a balance change, we’ve not had the rollback added.
This update is going to bring an elevated online experience to the game. This is great for adding more life to the game long-term. While offline events like the FighterZ World Championship are great, online is much easier for the bulk of the player base to get involved with. We can expect the Rollback update for FighterZ to arrive sometime in the coming months, likely before Summer unless the development of the patch has hit any roadblocks.

Is FighterZ Getting More Balance Changes?
Alongside rollback netcode getting tested for Dragon Ball FighterZ, we should expect a new balance patch to come too. Devs have said that they’re working on a new balance patch to correct some of the metagame that’s emerged since the last patch in 2022. This might mean some adjustments for FighterZ tier lists too!
The FighterZ patch notes will go through all of the changes once this balance patch arrives. Although, this might be after the rollback netcode patch has been added to the game.
Will There Be More Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch Notes?
After the next update, there isn’t a clear roadmap ahead for FighterZ. It seems like DLC is mostly done for the game. That’s unless something surprising pops up soon the current cast of characters is what we’ve got. That isn’t to say we won’t get anything else though. The rollback netcode update came as a bit of a surprise. It’s possible Arc System Works still has something up their sleeves.
Outside of another patch, there’s still plenty of speculation about future content being saved for a Dragon Ball FighterZ 2 or more Arc System Works games! Keep an eye on fighting games news for the next related title.
