5 Best Supports to Play with Jinx in LoL

Whether you play League of Legends or not, you probably have heard of Jinx. She is one of the main characters in the Netflix animated series Arcane, and it’s probably the champion that brought a lot of new players into trying the game. While her skill ceiling can be pretty high, she actually has quite a friendly kit that is not mechanically too demanding, making her a perfect champion for beginners looking to pick up the game.

In the current 2025 season, she continues to be one of the strongest ADC picks, with immense late-game carry potential. Having said that, it’s important that Jinx is paired with specific supports to empower her DPS or make sure she doesn’t get caught at the start of a fight.

If you’re not sure which champions you should be playing with Jinx, we have compiled the most optimal list of supports that are 100% guaranteed to work with her. We will be also looking at the key strengths and weaknesses of these bot lane duos, so you know exactly the reasons why they are so powerful as duos.

Lulu – No. 1 Support for Jinx

If you’re currently looking to play Jinx, then be aware that Lulu is the strongest support champion you can pair her up with. This is because Lulu not only empowers Jinx by granting her additional attack speed, but she also brings shields and additional crowd controls to disrupt the enemy’s engage attempts. Her ultimate, Wild Growth (R), is perfect for making Jinx tankier and survive incoming burst damage. Regardless of what she does with her spells, Lulu gives Jinx enough room to get into a comfortable position to take over fights.

The only downside is the weak laning phase this bot lane duo has, especially against bully bot laners: be aware of this during the laning phase and don’t mess up by allowing the enemy to snowball.

  • The no. 1 support for Jinx
  • A top tier support in the current meta
  • Provides the most amount of peeling
  • Easy to play and coordinate with

Thresh – The Best Engage Support

Lulu is currently the best support for Jinx due to how the meta is currently, but Thresh has usually been considered the more traditional pick to be played alongside the Zaunite marksman. The two are a known combo in professional play as well.

This is because Thresh brings more playmaking into play and allows teams to be more proactive compared to the enchanter support. Whether it’s hooking targets or forcing engages with his Flay (E), Thresh can set up Jinx easily and allow her to weave in auto attacks between short and long trades. Most importantly, however, hooking a single target and shutting it down will trigger Jinx’s passive, putting her in a position to carry the teamfights, which is what you’re always looking to do when having her in the team. Thresh is also one of the best supports for Kai’sa.

Compared to Lulu, though, Thresh is less forgiving and it will be much harder to be effective without proper champion proficiency. Don’t play him unless you’ve got plenty of games.

  • The best engage support
  • Lots of crowd control that can be combined with Jinx’s W and E
  • Has lantern to reposition her
  • Proactive bot lane pairing

Milio – The Lulu Alternative

With how popular Lulu is at the current moment, there is a high chance she is banned in several lobbies or picked by the enemy team. In those scenarios, if you’re still looking for an enchanter option, then consider playing Milio.

The Ixtal support offers comparable peeling potential to Lulu, with the exception that he can cleanse incoming crowd controls and provide extra healing with his ultimate. Moreover, he can extend Jinx’s attack range thanks to his W. Considering Jinx already gets extra range with her rocket form, she can fire lots of AoE damage from a safe distance during the skirmishes and extended fights.

The downside, however, is that Jinx-Milio is even weaker than Jinx-Lulu early on, which means you’ll have to be extra careful during the laning phase. Stick to farming minions and wait for Jinx to close out her core items before fighting.

  • The best alternative to Lulu
  • Additional attack range for Jinx with his W
  • Can cleanse crowd control with ultimate

Braum – For kite back team compositions

Jinx is usually played in front-to-back team compositions and there might be times when you need to have someone peeling for and not just cast her shields to survive. That’s when Braum comes into play — he’s one of the few support champions that excels at doing so and he’s been rising up in popularity lately.

Not only can he block projectiles with his wall, but he can apply his passive to multiple targets during a fight, which Jinx can proc super quickly. And a stunned target increases the chances of taking him down and activates Jinx’s passive for more attack speed and therefore, higher DPS. At that point, she will become unstoppable. This same fighting logic is why Braum is of of the best supports for Ashe as well.

  • Brings a lot of crowd controls
  • Synergizes well with Jinx’s high DPS
  • Usually used as an answer rather than a blind pick
  • Requires good coordination during the laning phase

Nami – The meta support pick for Jinx

The last support we recommend playing is Nami. While they aren’t usually played together, the enchanter support is one of the stronger options in the support tier list and she happens to work decently with Jinx, too, although it’s not a strong combo as with Lulu or Milio.

The main advantage of having Nami is increasing Jinx’s trading power in the laning phase thanks to the heals from W as well as the empowered attacks from Nami’s E. She can be played in matchups where the enemy is also weak early on and you want to take advantage to snowball.

That said, Jinx might be more vulnerable later in the game and unless Nami consistently hits her Qs to disrupt enemy’s movements, the duo might not be as efficient as the ones mentioned earlier.

  • Meta support choice
  • Offers healing and stronger laning phase
  • Falls off later in the game, doesn’t provide as much peeling as other enchanters
